About
A local locksmith service built on doing the job properly
Poseidon Locksmiths was set up to give Coolangatta and the southern Gold Coast a straightforward, reliable locksmith option — no gimmicks, no inflated call-out stories.
We are a local locksmith business based in Coolangatta, Queensland. The work we do is the work you would expect from a tradesperson who intends to still be here next year: hardware specified for the conditions, fittings done to standard, and prices agreed before the work starts.
The southern Gold Coast climate is genuinely hard on exterior lock hardware. Salt spray and humidity pit and seize cheap cylinders quickly, so we lean towards brass and marine-grade 316 stainless components for exposed entries. It costs a little more up front and saves a lot of call-outs later.
We do not run a call-centre model. When you call +61 7 2114 6130, you are dealing with the locksmith who will attend the job. That keeps communication clear and accountability simple.
Standards, not shortcuts
Locks and fire hardware specified to the relevant Australian Standards, fitted to do the job they were designed for.
Honest availability
We say we are 24/7 because we are. We will also tell you honestly if a non-urgent job is better done in business hours.
Local and accountable
Based in Coolangatta, serving the southern Gold Coast and Tweed. You know where to find us.
Clear pricing
We quote before we start. No vague estimates that balloon on the invoice.
